Many aspects you have to consider when you plan on doing surgery abroad. For me it was no spontaneous decision and the planing took a lot of time. It was nearly six month until everything fell into place.

Helena and Richard, the two International Client Coordinators I had contact with, stayed with me the whole process and patiently helped me to get everything organised, even though we had challenges and changes in between.

Here a little summary:

- More than every thing the communication was very good. Every question was answered promptly.

- At start of my journey in Prague the taxi driver was very polite and explained a little bit about Prague on my way to the hotel. And more than everything I appreciated the taxi in the morning of my surgery.

- I really appreciated Helena's help when I went to the clinic the first time. She went through with me to all formalities where questions arose. Her presence helped me a lot to get my nervousness in check. I was very thankful that she was there.

- All questions which arose after the surgery she passed on to the doctor. As things did not turn out as expected she helped me to stay in touch with the surgeon. This way we could find a good solution for the problem and again I really felt in good hands.

All in all I can highly recommend Medical Travel Czech Republic when you are planning surgery abroad.

I had an upper and lower eye lift and I could not recommend Doctor Vasek and his team enough. My experience was so comfortable from start to finish, thanks to Medical Travel and both their representatives: Janina who arranged my surgery and Vojta who accompanied me to the clinic. He is such an amazing young man who made this experience very comforting and enjoyable for me. Janina and Vojta were exceptional, went beyond, above to ensure l was knowledgeable and comfortable about my surgery. Also, made me feel very welcome to Prague. 

From making an enquiry with medical travel through to procedure being carried out I found the whole process very seamless and my co-ordinator Hana very informative and always on hand to offer some friendly advice, even with directions.

The clinic really was spotlessly clean and my private room lovely and comfortable. Everything was explained to me in really good English and the nurses were friendly and professional in carrying out all necessary medical checks prior to the procedure.

The procedure itself went very smooth and was over in just a few minutes with a little recovery overnight at the clinic where I was checked on regularly and monitored. The clinic made sure that I was not discharged until they were 100% happy with my progress.

Even after the gastric balloon procedure my co-ordinator checked in and offered some really good advice on some minor heartburn I suffered, which is a common short term side effect.

I am now two weeks on from having the procedure and doing really well, eating small liquid/soft meals and have lost 8lb in 2 weeks which is great result especially as I suffer from PCOS and struggled to loose just a few pounds with diet and exercise.

If I knew it was this easy I would have done it years ago, I now look forward to a healthier future and would definitely recommend medical travel for their expert knowledge and friendly approach.

I have written some feedback below. I hope this is ok? If you need anything further then please let me know. From the moment I contacted Medical Travel Czech I was assisted by Hana who was amazing. She was very informative, helpful and empathetic. Hana responded promptly to all of my questions and I feel she went above and beyond in doing her job. 

Hana arranged for me to be picked up from the airport and taken to my hotel. She also arranged transport to the hospital where I was welcomed by her colleague, Marie. Marie was lovely and she explained what was going to happen next and who I would be seen by etc.

I had my pre-op and then my consultation with Dr Vasek. Dr Vasek was very nice and he seemed to know what he was talking about. He could tell just by looking at my nose what the issues were with it. The only thing I would have liked would have been a more in depth consultation where I could have gone into more detail about what I wanted. I wanted to show pictures of my desired look. 

I then had a physical check with another doctor who was very thorough and made me feel welcome and listened to. The nurses then took me to get ready for my operation. They were lovely, very helpful and welcoming.

After my operation the nurses were fantastic. They really looked after me. Dr Vasek came to check on me later that day and again the next morning to remove the packing in my nose. The nurses helped clean me up, gave me an aftercare package and explained what I needed to do. They arranged transport back to my hotel. 

Hana contacted me that same day to see how I was. I can honestly say that she helped me get through the worst part. I was very emotional after the operation and was alone in Prague. Hana was very supportive and even gave me details of the local supermarket and sight seeing spots that I could see if and when I felt up to it. Hana is truly an asset to Medical Travel Czech and I would recommend her services to anyone. 

I cannot thank her enough for making a very daunting process miles better than what it would have been without her help.

In terms of my satisfaction regarding the procedure (septorhinoplasty) I am unable to comment on this as I am yet to see the results. 

I still have my cast on and the bruising is quite bad. It is not very painful but my head feels very blocked (like I have a cold). 

It’s very hard to wash my face properly and I really want to blow my nose but I can’t. 

I’d say the worst part about the whole experience is how I feel emotionally.

The best part was, by far, Hana. 

I am 27 weeks and 4 days pregnant now and we are having a little boy. Thank you again for everything you have done for us. One of our consultants in the UK has taken your clinics details from us as we told them how good you were so she can recommend you to her other patients.

Gynem clinic review.

We were incredibly impressed with the Gynem clinic and its services. We felt fully informed and very well looked after during our experience. The information given to us was very clear and easy to understand. The clinic itself is very clean and well presented and the staff and Doctors were very kind and attentive. Our experience was very positive and we would not hesitate to recommend d this clinic to others and may indeed use their services again should we decide to have a second baby.

Our experience with Medical travel services was very positive. They arranged our accommodation and even collected us from the airport which took so much pressure away from us. All we needed to do was fly to Prague and relax and enjoy the journey. The apartment was very handy for getting to the clinic and for the local shop and transport services. It was very clean and comfortable and made our stay really comfortable. We will certainly use their services again should the event arise.

Comparing the prices around europe, you wont believe that you would enter a big, advanced, scientific clinic and a friendly environment as well.
