Talking about my experience with the balloon procedure, I was glad to do it through medical travel and EGK, and I especially want to thank Petra. She was very supportive and helpful. She answered all my inquiries quickly and professionally before the procedure.
She also met me in Prague and welcomed me and she provided me with all the details and advice that I needed.
After arriving at the clinic also the staff “nurses” were very friendly. I met one of the clinic staff, he was an engineer (I don’t remember his name), I am very thankful to him, he explained to me in detail everything single step and all the symptoms that I may have and he also answered all my questions and inquiries. He also was helpful and flexible with the time of checkout. He provided me with the number of the doctor in case of any urgent situation.
Although, I wished I had met or talked to the doctor before the procedure. I think that would make me feel less stressed and afraid.
In addition, I suggest providing the patient with follow-up visits or online sessions with the doctor to check about the results and the situation of the patient (I believe that the communication with the patient by the doctor is part of this procedure)
In general, honestly, everyone tried to make me feel comfortable..
I’m still getting used to the balloon. It wasn’t easy, the first 10 days were tough. I had strong symptoms. Until now I lost about 4 kg and looking to the upcoming months to say more kilos dropping.

It has been good with the balloon, I lost around 8-10-kg, but the biggest change has been that I started to eat in a much-much healthier way with the help of all this. Furthermore, I've stopped totally drinking all kinds of alcohol which also is a big change for the better. I have felt much more strength and energy than before and it increased my life value.

The experience I had with the Medical group and yourself was great. You Petra answered all my questions and made me feel very confident to go with this company, You have been polite, so helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable and all your organising went perfectly and I am very grateful to you for that. The experience at the clinic was great. Especially the doctor who explained in great detail about the procedure, my test results and the tablets I was to take.
The only one slight negative was the experience while in the procedure room. I understand that I speak a different language and I definitely don't expect everyone to know English but the women in the room attending to me while having the procedure did not speak any English and were talking all the time amongst themselves, barely one word to me, I speak on behalf I suppose of any other Irish or English clients that come to this clinic that even just a little English to reassure the client and to explain what will happen and to have some sort of a friendly and welcoming environment will do wonders for the clients nerves as it can be a very anxious time.

June, 2022You helped me with everything that I needed. From coming off the plane there was someone waiting to take me to my hotel which made everything so easy. In the morning of course u were there waiting to take me to the clinic making me feel comfortable and safe. The clinic did an amazing job to look after me. The nurses always checked in after the procedure was done. I know it was not the best outcome for me having to remove the balloon within the week but talking to you and Milan it was the best solution for me as I was just feeling more sick and had no energy to carry on. All in all I would like to thank you and the team at the clinic and if ever I was to need anything else I would definitely come back to you. I would like to recommend you to friends and family.

In regard to feedback on yourselves, you’ve been impeccable, helpful and Conscientious. I felt looked after for the moment I was picked up at the airport to the time I left the clinic. It was very nice of you to come and take me to the clinic, and ensure all the paperwork was complete and that I was ok before I had my tests and then procedure.
EGK clinic were great, it was abit of a whirlwind as I arrived one day and departed the next.
I was very pleased with everything. Weight loss is going ahead albeit my stomach has not competently settled down as yet, so although rapid weight loss has occurred, I do find I’m living on air and water. I’m sure it’ll settle down soon.

April 2022Thank you so much for your support through the process you really helped me. I thought the service I received from Medical Travel Czech was really good and I can’t think of anything I would improve on from a service point of view.
Overall the service was fantastic. If I was to suggest something it would be to remind people that if they are bringing a partner that it may be a good idea for them to bring their own refreshments as the wait for the procedure can take some time, Mark had thankfully had breakfast but he didn’t leave till after 5pm so it was a long day without a snack. Obviously this didn’t affect me as I was nil by mouth ha ha.

You do provide the best customer service ever! Thank you for your sympathy, the result is not reflecting in any ways negative on the professionalism and the amazing care tour team provided at the clinic! On the contrary! I will carry on with treating the psychological cause of my food addiction/eating disorder with a psychologist and as a preventative measure to preserve my health will have a bypass or sleeve surgery.
I know that people are feeling pretty rough the first few days after the insertion, that is why I am staying an extra day before flying back. I have to trust your instincts and advice on this one. I will be back to you guys in the future for sure (i am considering a breast lift/augmentation after the weight loss too) so I am not worried about missing the opportunity.

February 2022With the balloon it has been uncomfortable for the first 4 days, it is now easing off, but at night it can be unpredictable as I can put pressure on certain sleeping positions. otherwise all good. February 2022Thanks for checking in, I am feeling much better now and getting my energy back. I am managing to eat small amounts of solid food and I am only being sick around 1-2 times a day now. I find I am most uncomfortable at night but I hope this gets better.

November 2021I’m not too bad at the moment. Didn’t feel great during the night but I suppose that’s to be expected. The clinic staff were all nice and helpful, especially the guy that talked me through everything. Taxi was waiting for me outside the clinic so I have just arrived at the airport. I really appreciate how helpful you have been over the past couple months with my many emails and it was lovely to put a face to the name yesterday morning.
