Peter Chovan

Dr Chovan is a highly experienced plastic surgeon who focus on the field of aesthetic plastic surgery because of the possibility of helping people who suffer from what nature has given them too much or, conversely, little. These people suffer a lot mentally and he can help them through aesthetic and surgical procedures.

EDUCATION

Dr. Chovan graduated from the Medical Faculty of Comenius University in Martin. He graduated with a red diploma. Already during his studies, he wanted to focus on plastic surgery. He gradually worked his way through various surgical disciplines to aesthetic plastic surgery. He has a certificate in general surgery, which he obtained in 1993 at the Institute of Postgraduate Medicine in Bratislava. He defended his certification in plastic surgery in 1995 at the Slovak Medical University with doc. MUDr. Janovič. After 10 years of training and a long-term internship in the USA, in 1999 he obtained a supplementary specialization in neurosurgery at the Slovak Medical University.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Dr. Peter Chovan has more than 20 years of experience in the field of plastic surgery. After internships abroad in Taiwan and Austria, he began to focus more on aesthetic surgery, especially breast and face surgery. After defending his certification in plastic surgery, he began to address the issue of rhinoplasty in connection with its functional aspects. Currently, it focuses mainly on breast augmentation associated with augmentation using breast tissue as an implant, ie breast augmentation without the use of a foreign body, in one operation, breast augmentation with simultaneous augmentation with breast implants in one operation, breast augmentation with breast surgery. implants in the classic way and breast augmentation through the armpits under the control of an endoscope. Furthermore, lipotransfer (transfer of own fat) to the breast and background by Pure-Graft method, Brasilian buttock lift, body correction after bariatric therapy and great weight loss (surgery of overhanging skin on the abdomen, arms or thighs), mummy make-over - combined operations after childbirth - correction of breast, abdomen and fat deposits (liposuction), XXXL liposuction using invasive radiofrequency BodyTite, body lift, aesthetic and functional rhinoplasty (nose surgery) and Minimal Scar SMAS facelift.

Dr. Chovan is actively interested in innovations in his field and continuously complements his professional education.
