I am absolutely delighted with my eye's and so is Steve.  For the first time in my life I have eyelids that I can put eye shadow on and it can be seen. Within in two weeks we are nearly back to normal. Just a little bit of numbness on the top lids and in the corners. I'm getting lots of comments from people saying you look different, what have you done! my secret.

So I would say to anyone thinking of having eye surgery abroad.. go for it! The whole process was swift and painless.

Martina our contact from Medical Travel was first class. Held my hand all the way from my first inquiry to her. We were picked up from the airport and taken to the clinic for our first consultation with Dr Vasek. Dr Vasek spoke good English and explained everything in great detail to us. The main worry was would it hurt and he promised that we wouldn't feel a thing, and we didn't. We were then taken to our hotel to book in. At 1 pm we were collected to be taken back to the clinic for our surgery. Surgery took one hour under local anesthetic and Dr Vasek explained everything that he was doing and reassuring us all the time.

When we left the clinic we were given medication and ice pack glasses to aid our recovery.

I didn't take going abroad to have my eye surgery lightly. I did lots of research before deciding which clinic and doctor to use. Martina was able to give me all my choices very easily and quickly.

One other reason why I started to look abroad to have my eyes done was because my sister had hers upper and lower eyelids done in the UK and paid three times as much, however I wasn't impressed with the results and neither was she.

I think my experience here in Prague was very pleasant. There was good communication all around and I felt welcomed from the moment I came off the airplane. I appreciated the fact that Martina came to the hotel to accompany me to the clinic. I thought it was a very nice gesture especially when I was so nervous about the surgery and although I am a nurse myself and used to clinical environment, it can be very scary to have surgery so many miles away from home. At the clinic everyone was polite and spoke well english. I was taken very good care of and I can not fault the service in anyway. It was a fantastic team of doctors, nurses, phlebotomist, dietitian and receptionists. If I was to have surgery again in Prague I would as I had a very positive experience. Thank you so much.

The Gynem clinic is very good, professional and clean and hygienic. The treatment protocol was very good in terms of transportation collection from the airport and from hotel to the clinic. I also appreciated that the staff spoke very good English to help with communication. It was also very useful to be able to receive the preparation medication in England before travel in order to prepare for treatment in addition I appreciated the skype calls with the Doctor and representative which allowed me to ask questions and saved upon additional expense and time having to travel to the clinic prior to treatment. The whole experience was pleasant as the staff were very friendly and helpful and answered my questions promptly. The whole process went smoothly which was good and staff made you feel at ease along with the receipt of a timetable for the prep medication. I would highly recommend the treatment and clinic and I would come back again for further treatment. The only thing that could be improved is the instructions /guidance for post treatment in terms of when to take the medication for what length of time, maybe supplying a calendar schedule and how to go about purchasing additional medication would be useful, but I over came this by communicating with you in order to clarify how long to take the medication for. I would like to add that the whole experience was a positive outcome as we now have a beautiful baby girl. Furthermore, I am planning to try for a second child in September, therefore, can you please help to arrange and coordinate this for us.

I was looking for the clinic in Czech Republic and Gynem representative really answered quickly with all the necessary information. The communication was really great and at the initial visit we talked to the doctor who explained everything. The donor selection went smoothly and I started taking the medicine 2 months after the initial visit. We were lucky to get a good number of embryos. The transfer was guick and now we are keeping our fingers crossed.

The communication and advices provided by the Gynem staff has been amazing throuhout the treatment. From the initial email contact and subsequent, countless questions, staff were patient, understanding and more than helpful.

All process´ and options were explained in detail. Daily updates kept us informed of every development.

The Gynem clinic (Prague) is a modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean facility with professional medical staff and extremely helpful and friendly staff and nurses.

I had a very good experience with Medical Travel Czech, you always took the time to reply to my emails within 1 or 2 days and even to call me to make sure I knew what to expect and that I would be very well prepare for the surgery. Also, I did really appreciate the fact that you send me few links of hotel where I could stay not far from the clinic. Everyone was really nice and friendly from you to the doctor and the nurses so I felt in a trustworthy and safe environment.

I have been well since the surgery, everything went well. The doctor explained very well what I should expect and I didn't experience any complication at all, just felt very swollen and discomfort. I was given pills to take and a recovery pack with everything explain. It a little bit frustrated because it takes times before you can see the final result and you're always over thinking I hope it work? Did he remove enough fat out? Could he remove more? What about the scars they are very visible and etc. But everything was explained by the doctor. But the good thing is that he gave me its mobile number so when I had any questions I just send him a message and he would reply within 2 days which is very helpful and comforting.

The only downfall was the pick up at the airport but it didn't really bothered me that much because my flight was delayed (and you arrange my drop off the airport.) but I realised at this time that I didn't have your personal phone number in case of emergency.

Also, Miss Sophie is a nice hotel but not very convenient when you just had surgery and just want to stay in our room, especially if you travel alone. You don't have a room service to order food and drink and it was not convenient to cross the road to talk to reception and to have breakfast specially because it was snowing and the street is sloping.

But overall I had a great experience, from the hotel, taxi driver and doctors everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

I would definitely come back for a check-up and to visit the city.

This is my last night in the hotel so happy to give you some feedback.

The service I received from you was excellent - you were truly helpful and interested.

Honestly I thought you were excellent and remain disappointed that we were not able to meet. I cannot therefore offer you any suggestions how you could improve the service you offer - take that as a big compliment please.

With regard to the Forme clinic I first have to say the receptionist there (also Jana) was outstanding. She was helpful friendly and sympathetic while realising people waiting for surgeries have anxieties. She is a big credit and asset to the Practice there.

Next (and this is the difficult part) in my judgement the Dr (who is clearly highly skilled and competent) could have been more communicative and friendly and just more welcoming - although the consultation was good.

I have to be careful here because all nationalities have different characteristics and therefore have different expectations.

In conclusion I probably would use him again or more importantly recommend him but I saw many things that could have been done better in terms of making the patient feel special.

Nothing I’ve said here should or can impact on the Dr's competence (which was first rate) but in general English people will need more tender love and care and a better bedside manner.

My overall experience with Medical Travel was great. My emails were answered in a prompt and friendly manner. While i did feel apprehensive about travelling abroad, i liked the fact that i would have someone there to meet us at airport, bring us to clinic and help in any other way while we were there. I was meant to have surgery on a Monday and fly home on Friday however it was changed to Tuesday. I think the extra days rest would of been better. For anyone travelling abroad i recommend Medical Travel and Forme clinic. Hopefully my healing will be as good. :) If anyone wants to contact me for feedback or comments please feel free.

From the moment we were introduced on the Wednesday morning the service and manner from the staff was excellent. The pre-op services provided by the local women's clinic was fast and professional. On returning to the Brandeis Clinic I was made to feel very relaxed both by the excellent Dr Payer and the anaesthetist. Their manner and professionalism made me feel at ease. I was taken to my room from where the nurses again helped me to relax and prepare for the upcoming surgery. I was taken through for surgery within half an hour and the whole procedure took around two hours with a further hour for waking up time from the general anaesthetic. There was a full and professional care service provided by the nurses throughout the night ensuring that on medication was available whenever I needed it. The next morning I awoke to slight pain but that was soon remedied by the pain medication. Dr Payer carried out his rounds and was very happy with the procedure and I was, and am very pleased with the final result. I was able to leave the clinic by 10am on the Thursday so the whole process took around 24 hours. I am very happy with the service and procedures undertaken by the Brandeis clinic and its staff and would recommend their services to anyone considering breast augmentation surgery in the future.
