September, 2023Hi Hana, thank you for your email. We are very well! Our son was born in June with a cesarean section. I requested it to avoid any complications. He's a beautiful, big, healthy, happy baby. My maternity leave lasts for a year so I can enjoy every minute with him. My husband had 6 weeks paternity leave so we could manage the early days together, much easier. The baby has got colic and we hope he grows it out soon. My parents live nearby, they visit us every weekend. He started to grab things, kicking fast and testing his voice. I take him to baby swimming to introduce him to the water. He's getting used to it. He's lifting his head in my arms but he refuses the tummy time. It's something we have to practice. Hope you are doing well!

My husband and I started our journey with Gynem at the end of last year and straight away we were glad we did. We were quickly matched with our coordinator, Antonia who has been amazing throughout.
She always provided all the information we needed, and was quick to respond to any emails. She also set up telephone calls where needed and always answered our questions/queries perfectly.
When visiting the clinic, the place was clean and bright, and all of the doctors, nurses, and other team members were very friendly. Antonia also was always available to help with translation if needed, which was rarely. When meeting with the doctors and embryologists they were always very helpful, and full of expert advice/information.
Our DE cycle did have a few stressful moments but Antonia was there with us throughout to offer help and expert advice, and don't know what we would have done without her.
Prague is a very beautiful and safe city to visit, and we are happy we chose to have our treatment there with Gynem.

Talking about my experience with the balloon procedure, I was glad to do it through medical travel and EGK, and I especially want to thank Petra. She was very supportive and helpful. She answered all my inquiries quickly and professionally before the procedure.
She also met me in Prague and welcomed me and she provided me with all the details and advice that I needed.
After arriving at the clinic also the staff “nurses” were very friendly. I met one of the clinic staff, he was an engineer (I don’t remember his name), I am very thankful to him, he explained to me in detail everything single step and all the symptoms that I may have and he also answered all my questions and inquiries. He also was helpful and flexible with the time of checkout. He provided me with the number of the doctor in case of any urgent situation.
Although, I wished I had met or talked to the doctor before the procedure. I think that would make me feel less stressed and afraid.
In addition, I suggest providing the patient with follow-up visits or online sessions with the doctor to check about the results and the situation of the patient (I believe that the communication with the patient by the doctor is part of this procedure)
In general, honestly, everyone tried to make me feel comfortable..
I’m still getting used to the balloon. It wasn’t easy, the first 10 days were tough. I had strong symptoms. Until now I lost about 4 kg and looking to the upcoming months to say more kilos dropping.

It has been good with the balloon, I lost around 8-10-kg, but the biggest change has been that I started to eat in a much-much healthier way with the help of all this. Furthermore, I've stopped totally drinking all kinds of alcohol which also is a big change for the better. I have felt much more strength and energy than before and it increased my life value.

Our coordinator Hana was exceptional. She held my hand every step of the way giving me updates and important information, coordinating my travel and accommodation in Prague, and providing emotional support. She was an angel. I could not have asked for anything more. After a number of heartbreaking miscarriages over 40 and fearing time was running out to start our family. Myself and my husband chose Gynem to help us. We chose the Donor Egg Comfort package. Gynem was so caring and invested in us and really made us feel supported. The process was so quick, and on our second transfer we were successful. The experience I had with the Medical group and yourself was great. You Petra answered all my questions and made me feel very confident to go with this company, You have been polite, so helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable and all your organising went perfectly and I am very grateful to you for that. The experience at the clinic was great. Especially the doctor who explained in great detail about the procedure, my test results and the tablets I was to take.
The only one slight negative was the experience while in the procedure room. I understand that I speak a different language and I definitely don't expect everyone to know English but the women in the room attending to me while having the procedure did not speak any English and were talking all the time amongst themselves, barely one word to me, I speak on behalf I suppose of any other Irish or English clients that come to this clinic that even just a little English to reassure the client and to explain what will happen and to have some sort of a friendly and welcoming environment will do wonders for the clients nerves as it can be a very anxious time.
